RCS Series Air Cooled Frascold Condensing Units

Specification :-

* Frascold Semi-Hermetic Compressor
* Designed for operation on R404A
* Polyolester oil charge.
* All units are supplied with a holding charge of OFN.
* Single and Twin fan models (dependant on capacity)
* HP/LP Switch - auto reset fitted as standard.
* Single and three phase models available.
* All condenser fans are suitable for fan speed control.
* Liquid receivers are fitted with a fusible plug or
pressure relief valve(s) in accordance with EN378-2-2008
* Full range of optional fitted controls are available
* Oil pressure differential switches are fitted as standard
where necessary (V series compressors only)

The RCS series of Air Cooled Condensing Units have been designed and built in the UK specifically for the ever increasing
demand for high specification equipment supplied on short lead times.
Manufactured in our Suffolk factory by our fully qualified staff under our quality control system in accordance with the Pressure
Equipment Regulations (97/23/EC) All equipment is CE marked and Final Test and Inspection Reports and Declarations of
Conformity are avialble on request.
The RCS semi-hermetic series uses selected models from the Frascold hermetic compressor range, reliability and quality being
the main criteria.
There is a complete range of optional items shown in the following pages which are available to order so that each unit can be
customised to suit specific requirements.
The RCS semi-hermetic series incorporates low, medium and high temperature condensing units designed to operate at
evaporating temperatures ranging from -40oC up to +10oC dependant on application and system design.

This booklet shows the R404A range of RCS Air Cooled Condensing Units however condensing units for other HFC refrigerants
together with a range of two and three compressor models are available on request.

Also available in the RCS portfolio is a full range of water cooled condensing units for operation on mains, tower or chilled water
together with the proven range of RCS high quality compressor receiver units with matching remote air cooled condensers to
meet specific applications.
